“The Logues New Year’s Eve Eve Party! Saturday 30th December at 8pm Tkts: £14.50, £7 (Con) The Logues return to the Alley Theatre for what is now something of an Alley tradition, their New Year’s Eve Eve Show. The Castlederg folk rockers are one of the hardest working bands in the country, with 2017 seeing them perform a five city tour of Italy and play festivals in Holland and Switzerland all while writing material for a new record and playing around Ireland. The band’s sound, a frenetic rock sound with splashings of Irish folk and Americana, is best appreciated in a live setting. Singer Kiel Cathers says ‘we always look forward to our gig in the Alley every year, and we like to set ourselves the challenge of putting on a better show each year so it’s getting more difficult!
